This course is dedicated to second year students of English language and literature. It studies linguistics in general and two chapters in details: phonology and morphology.
Phonology is the study of human speech sounds and morphology is the study of word structure.
The aim of studying phonology is to permit students to know how sounds we combine forma word, sentence, text and more. As for morphology, it aims at familiarizing students with the stucture of each word they utter.
