This course focuses on reading and writing as intergrally related skills,for they are equally essential in the academic journey of EFL students. The students' writing skills are developed through their introduction to new types of texts (narrative,comparative/contrastive...etc)along with the different characteristics that are specific to every type of text. The theoritical part of this course is followed by intensive class writing sessions where students will learn to produce well-organized and varied types of essays. Also, students will exercise their reading skills and will ultimately be capable of differentiating between the main idea of the text, the details as well as the inferences of the text.
