This course explores the works of major writers in English literature (British and American) from the medieval time to Nineteenth century. Featured authors are chosen by the responsible teacher. Examples included are William Langland, William Shakespeare, William Bradford, Thomas Paine, and Edgar Allan Poe. The course also deals with the main characteristics and themes of the selected works for each historical, cultural and socio-political context.
