Literary Translation

This module is called Literary Translation and does not pretend to decypher literary translation, but must not treat it en passant. This course then aims to shed light on literary translation proper without delving too much into the details. Because literature and translation are at stake, defining these two concepts is a must. We shall begin with literarture and next move to translation. For literary translation, we resort to definitions given by literary translators supported by youtube videos. Other videos expose literary translators’ experience. There will be brief definitions of different literature translations such as prose, poetry and drama.
