This course in ICTs and e-learning is designed for first-year undergraduate students (Section A). It is conducted entirely online through the Moodle platform, utilizing the integrated BigBlueButton video conferencing tool. The course is scheduled for Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. with Dr. K. BERBAR. Attendance is mandatory for students. To access the course, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to Moodle using your username and password.  

Step 2: Upon logging in, you will be taken to the Moodle dashboard, which typically includes sections such as “My Courses” (a list of the courses you are currently enrolled in).

Step 3: Click on the name of the course you wish to access.

Step 4: Once you are in the course, you will encounter a course page that may feature various sections containing downloadable documents.

Step 5: To participate in virtual classes, locate the BigBlueButton activity (represented by a blue circle featuring a lowercase white “b” in the center) and click the BigBlueButton link to enter the conference room.

Step 6: Click on the “Join Session” button to enter the live video conference and select your preferred audio option (“Microphone” if you wish to speak during the session, or “Listen Only” if you prefer to participate without speaking).

Step 7: To interact during the live session, use the “Raise Hand” feature to signal that you have a question or comment and wait for the instructor to call on you. Alternatively, you can ask questions or share your thoughts via the “chat box,” which allows for communication without interrupting the session.

Step 8: If you wish to leave the session, click on the logout icon and confirm your decision to exit.
