The course entitled: Classical and Neo-classical Literature: Greek and Medieval is intended to introduce Greek Tragedy to the all students of the department of English. It also purports to teach the aesthetic and artistic aspects of the Aristotelian art about tragedy.The main works of the most known Greek authors like Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides and Arsitophanes  are studied. In sum, the students learn the origin of Tragedy art in order that they would understand its evolvement along ages until our contemporary times.
